New Residence and Security Integration

The first phase of work included designing security enhancements and technology upgrades to a 100% Unix operating system in a historic home in Palo Alto for a Silicon Valley executive. This system supported a 24-hour guard team located at the property.

During a second phase of work, the client requested Red Five design and engineering support for a new 8,000 square foot home to be built on the property. Working with the architectural team, Red Five designed a tailored system to meet the family’s needs. The new home’s security systems had to integrate the historic residence security system, the new residence, and an off-site 35,000 square foot private office with a newly planned security operations office for the 24-hour guard force.
