Nicole Geller is a Senior Director with Springer Lawson & Associates, providing strategic consultancy services in business operations, growth, turnaround and succession planning for middle-market government contractor CEOs and management teams. Nicole also serves as part of the executive team performing 360° corporate gap analysis and assessments.
Prior to joining Springer Lawson, Ms. Geller was the founder and CEO of Government Contract Solutions (GCS), a government contract professional solutions firm for the intelligence and civilian federal markets. GCS managed highly visible and mission critical IT programs for federal agencies around the globe, including warzones. GCS exceled in identifying cost savings for its customers in large-scale programs and federal budgets. Nicole led the Company since its inception in 1996 to a successful exit in late 2014. GCS employed more than 400 highly skilled professionals that delivered award-winning, quality-based solutions to its long-term customers. GCS was a Washington Technology Fast 50 Company and an Inc. 5000 recognized company for five years running. Nicole was a 2014 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award Finalist for her leadership and growth during her company’s transformation from commercial services to specialized, high-quality government solutions.
Prior to founding GCS, Ms. Geller was a Federal and International contracts manager with Booz, Allen & Hamilton and began her contracts management career at Planning Research Corporation, where she led numerous process improvement initiatives and negotiations that delivered significant cost savings to government and international customers.
Ms. Geller is an appointed board member of the George Mason University (GMU) Foundation Board of Trustees, a $1B private foundation and serves as the Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee and is a member of the Foundation’s Executive Committee. Nicole also served as a Board member and Executive Committee member for the nonprofit Women’s Center, located in Vienna, Va.
Nicole currently serves as the Facilitator of the Young President’s Organization (YPO) CEO roundtable for women members of the Washington, DC area. Nicole is a long-term member of the C200, an invitation-only group of top US women business executives and is a member of Washington Women’s Leadership Initiative. Nicole is also an active member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Association of Corporate Growth.
Nicole has been a frequent panel speaker for C200, M&A organizations and government contracting associations on “Selling your Business”, “What to Expect when Growing your Business”, “CEO Lessons Learned from Selling your Business”, “Preparing to Exit the Business”, and “Growing your Federal business as a Commercial Firm.”
She holds a BS in Economics from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, is an avid golfer and LSS Yellow Belt.
